Some Information About Gabapentin & Methylcobalamin Tablets[Mythomin-G] :

GABAPENTIN+MECOBALAMIN is an anticonvulsant medicine used to treat partial seizures (epilepsy) and various nerve pain/damage problems in adults and children over the age of three, such as post-herpetic neuralgia and restless leg syndrome. Epilepsy is a neurological condition in which the activity of the brain becomes abnormal during seizures, causing the person to lose consciousness or awareness. Neuralgia is a persistent nerve pain disease caused by nerve injury or other neurological conditions such as neuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia, or shingles.
Gabapentin (an anticonvulsant) and Mecobalamin (a B vitamin) are combined in GABAPENTIN+MECOBALAMIN (vitamin B12). Gabapentin treats seizures by lowering abnormal brain excitement by modulating a chemical messenger in the brain called a neurotransmitter. Mecobalamin, a Vitamin B12, aids in the renewal and preservation of injured nerve cells by forming a substance called myelin. When used jointly, GABAPENTIN+MECOBALAMIN helps to reduce neuropathic pain caused by nerve damage and other neurological diseases.
GABAPENTIN+MECOBALAMIN should be taken according to your doctor’s instructions. You should take GABAPENTIN+MECOBALAMIN for as long as your doctor recommends, depending on your medical condition. You may experience dizziness, fatigue, sleepiness, or uncoordinated physical actions. The majority of these GABAPENTIN+MECOBALAMIN side effects are minor and will go away on its own.
