Use of CureKuff-DS :

CureKuff-DS (Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine Hydrochloride + Chlorpheniramine Maleate) is used in the treatment of dry cough.

 

How to Use :

Before using, give the bottle a good shake. Follow the directions on the label and take CureKuff-DS with or without food in the doses indicated by your doctor, using the measuring cup included in the package.

 

Mechanism of Action :

CureKuff-DS treats dry cough by combining three medicines: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride, and Chlorpheniramine Maleate. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that works by narrowing the tiny blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion and stuffiness. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic that improves allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that works by decreasing cough center activity in the brain.

  • It’s normally only used for a brief period till the symptoms go away.

Phenylephrine hydrochloride works by decreasing blood vessels in the nasal canal, which helps to relieve stuffiness.
