Meftria-TZ (Ceftriaxone & Tazobactam) is used to treat bacterial infections.

CEFTRIAXONE & TAZOBACTAM (Meftria-TZ) is a medication that combines Ceftriaxone (an antibiotic) and Tazobactam (an antifungal) (beta-lactamase inhibitor). Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic that works by interfering with the production of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) required for survival. The bacterial cell wall is therefore damaged, and the organism is killed. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that boosts ceftriaxone’s effectiveness while lowering resistance.
